BREASTFEEDING SUPPORT GROUPS

Melissa Morgan, IBCLC, CLE, moderates breastfeeding support groups throughout Spokane and North Idaho for moms and babies in need of breastfeeding help from a lactation consultant and for mothers to share their breastfeeding experiences. Current support group offerings are:
- Mother’s Haven - Tuesdays at 12 pm (noon)
2112 N. Government Way, Coeur d’Alene, ID
There is NO CHARGE to attend this group; donations welcome.

- New Moon Family Acupuncture - Acupuncture provided by Rebekah Giangreco, L.Ac.

- Pend Oreille Midwifery - A birth center in Sandpoint, ID, that hostesses a breastfeeding support group.
- Spokane BIrth Support - Xylina Weaver, HBCE, CLE, CD(DONA), CPD(DONA), is a lactation educator providing general breastfeeding education.
- Spokane Mindful Mamas - A group of mothers in Spokane and Spokane Valley who meet weekly to discuss pertinent mothering issues. Groups are frequently attended by birth and breastfeeding professionals.
